Fairbanks is full of shopping experiences. All down the streets are shops full of Alaskan merchandise from ulus to fur parkas, Fairbanks is sure to have a keepsake for you. It is incredibly common for Native Art to be featured at these shops. If you are in doubt of authenticity contact the BBB or ask the shop owner for the artists card.
If you are looking for a more urban shopping adventure we recommend the Bentley mall which has Hot Topic, Pac Sun, American Eagle and many others.
Also, Fairbanks has plenty of larger chain stores such as Barnes & Noble, and Sports Authority. Fairbanks also has the largest Wal-Mart Supercenter in Alaska.
